Eco Earth And Reptiles

So, I have a few reptiles now a days. Not all of them are corns. I wanted to switch a few to Eco Earth. I read recently that I should be using a different bedding besides aspen for garter snakes. I was thinking of using a bottom layer of gravel with a few inches of Eco Earth. Opinions?

Also, I have an Amazon Tree Boa that I still have on paper towels for qt (humidity is fun this way). I wanted to set up a little cage for her using Eco Earth.

I also have a Chinese Water Dragon that I wanted to put on Eco Earth. All websites say orchid bark is okay. I've never seen orchid bark, but I was thinking that it was possibly similar to Eco Earth. They also mention sand/soil mixture.

To anyone who keeps any of these, would you use Eco Earth? I'm not worried about how easy it is to clean. All these guys are pets, not breeders so the tanks are going to be a pain to clean anyway with all the decorations.

Thanks.
