Eevah's Thread

Stefanie

New member
So I'm addicted to taking pictures of Eevah already, and I figured instead of posting them all in the "new member introduction" forum I'll make her own thread.

Tonight she was really active and explored her new toys I put in there earlier today. She loves them! YAY! Today is day 4 of her being with us, and she's getting more comfortable with her tank. Makes for some awesome shots! They aren't as good as some other ones here, but I love 'em =)

And I can't wait for her to shed! I hope to find a skin in the tank tomorrow ...

Thanks for looking!

Great set up! I really like it Stefanie. Im glad Eevah has an awesome new home!

Thanks Steve! I DID have enough time to set it up ;)

I think that fake log hide looks like the one with the secret hidden passage. Can I see a picture of the whole thing?

Oh thank goodness it's not! I would freak out if my snake would be stuck in that! How exactly did that happen? There's a "room" in there for the snakes to hide and THAT had a hole into the inside of the branch?

Mine is a fake tree from Petsmart. There was a LITTLE hole (i'm guessing from casting it or having it put on a stake to paint) on the bottom of it. But after hearing how hatchlings can squeeze through anything bigger than a bb-gun bullet I closed the hole up with a hot-glue gun.

I had to tie the fake vine on the lid because Eevah was climbing through her vine and tried to stretch across the very top to the lip of the tank, and fell down. Freaked me out to death because she landed on her water dish. She thankfully just got a little bruise on her belly and ate fine, but I didn't want that to happen again. Now she LOOOVES that vine on the top and cruises through the top part of her tank all night lol. Below's a picture of her fake log tree. I still have to figure out how to include pictures INTO my thread instead of below it ...
