Hello, I could use some advice.
My snow laid 12 eggs last Friday. One egg, is one to two inches from the vent, and there are 7 more behind it a few inches back. Going on a week now.
This is her first time (mine too). She is over 42 inches and was plump not sure exactly how much, but she was good size.
I did probe around the egg. It is free and clear, the probe went all around it fine.
I tried to gently push it too but no go. It is a good size egg.
I think it is time to aspirate it or will be soon.. I have an 18 gauge x 20ml.
In Kathy Love’s manual it say’s insert needle between stretched out scales.
Is this belly scales? Or on the side, it’s not clear on that. I don’t want to assume anything.
7 days now. How much more time should I give it?
I have been giving her exercise and warm baths. Also left her alone a couple days.
I hate to lose her she is my first corn.
Thanks.
Bill
