Eggs collapsing....hatching?

My eggs started to collapse at around 57 days, it is now 59 days and more and more are collapsing. I imagine they are absorbing their yolk sacs, but I was curious when they usually start to pip after they started collapsing.

I'm really impatient and like to know when I can expect pippies. First ever snake clutch, I've had around 7 species of geckos hatch but snake eggs are alittle different.

Yep, when they get close to hatching they may indent. You should see pippies any day now! Be sure to post picks!!!

Here's a pic. That really sunk in one has been like that for the whole incubation. The rest have just started to dent in 5 days ago.

I pipped a egg and saw a little normal in there, it responded to a little poke so atleast its alive.

I sprayed them with water last night and it really soften them up, this afternoon I take a look and one egg has a slit, so it looks like I should have a whole bunch of babies in a few days.

Yeah, sometimes they're stubborn and will make you wait and wait and wait. Can be frustrating. But I imagine they'll be hatching anytime now.

Mine took about 6 days after sinking in. I was getting worried enough to contact Kathy Love, and she thought it would be fine. They were! All well and accounted for at day 69....
