So here are my final three snakes...for a while...I am happy with three, and can easily afford to feed three. So...I just wanted to create a thread to show everyone my snakes...I LOVE to show them off. This should probably be in the Photo Gallery, but I already put three progression threads on that board (go check them out) and didn't want to "overcrowd" it...Plus, I want to discuss my snakes a litte..

So here they are! These are all three of them. My beautiul Classic, Erricca. My Snow, Clancy. And my new Amel, Sunny. I am so proud of them :)

Erricca is really special to me...She was my very first snake, and although I feel bad about how I handled her care the first couple of weeks, she helped me learn how to care for a little corn snake. She is the most laid back of all my snakes, nothing bothers her. Also, she is the only one who "enjoys" being held. She is SO laid back that, when she eats she HAS to touch the pinkie with her nose alll over. She just touches it for almost a minute. Then FINALLY she will very slowly eat her pinkie. I can feed all my snakes at the same time, but Erricca will still be eating long after I have put my other two snakes back in their tanks to digest their food. This is my favorite picture of her, it really shows her colors really well.

Clancy is the 2nd snake that I bought. "She" is just a regular old snow (or so I have been told.) I named her after the guy Clancy off of "The Man from SNOWY river" since she is a SNOW corn. She is the most active of all my snakes. She is out of her hide crawling around 24/7. During the day, night, whatever. She also loves to crawl through her water bowl. I usually have to clean it out 3 times a day because of all the dirt she drags into it. She is also pretty laid back when being handled, but is such an aggressive eater. The distinction between her and Erricca is CRAZY. Erricca had never struck at a pinkie, while Clancy strikes EVERY time. I enjoy her because EVERY morning before school, she sits on her little rock and watches me get ready to leave. Its so cute. All the others are asleep, but not Clanc...she is out and about, making sure I get to school on time ;)

Last, but not least, is Sunny...the little spitfire. The first thing this little guy did when I held him was try to attack my whole hand. I was hooked at first bite! He thinks he is a little viper, and will not hesitate to rattle his tail and strike at anything that threatens him. So ar, he has been a recluse, but may just be getting use to his new home. I haven't really gotten to know him yet, since I have only had him about a week.

So there is my collection...Finished (for now!) Leave comments, or create a "snake discussion" thread of your own :) I would enjoy reading/looking at it! It amazes me how every snake has different personalites and dispositions! I never knew that before I owned snakes myself...So enjoy! Post one of these about your snakes :)

If you notice a few missing letter "F"s I'm sorry. My F key is kinda broken, and will only type if you really punch it!

Nice snakes!!

In the first picture, did "erricca" and "sunny" just have there tails tangled up, or are you sure that wasn't a hookup???

They are little babies, about a month old or so. Pretty sure that can't happen.

And there was no biting or mating behavior. I think they where just tangled.

there doesn't have to be any biting, and mating can happen at any age.

But on closer inspection, the cloca's are not near each other, so nothing to worry about.
