I'm so happy to hear that. And he's so pretty too. People never cease to be amazed at how slick and sly corn snakes can be. Never underestimate the power of a corn snake.

The only thing that concerns me though, is the tape actually avaliable to him inside the enclosure?
Should the tape ever start to come off and he gets stuck to it you guys are both in for a world of aggrivation...
 
I am thinking that the way he taped it was just to cover the hole then with the thermometer reinstalled it should help to hold it in place although ideally it might be a better option to fill the entire gap with silicone caulk or maybe cut a small block of wood that you could insert into the gap and then glue it in place so that the gap is permantly sealed.

Also I love the cage it looks really nice!

yea i reinstalled the thermometer blocked it with tape just like sanebedlam said

and no he can't go close to the thermometer inside the cage anymore i moved the vine to the other side before it was close to the thermometer

ok i'll try to get some material for that spot and take out the tape
