My little 05 amel got out about a week ago and I havnt been able to find him anywhere. I tried the tabe traps but he's still a no show. His cage was ontop of the bathroom sink so I'm wondering if he might of gone down the drain. Any hints on how to lure him out and catch him if he's still somewhere im the house?

There are pages and pages of helpful hints if you go to Search. You might find something that works best for your situation.

Why was the viv on top of the sink, BTW? Doing some cleaning?

If he went down the drain he probably didn't go past the P-trap. He would probably either slither back out and show up in the sink, or drown. If you really want to find out, take the P-trap apart. Or at least pull the stopper-thingy out of the drain and look in with a flashlight.

sure way to lure snake back.

firstly buy a live what ever food they're on, place it in a container that snake can't get into, but the scent can. place it in quiet corner with a makeshift shelter. sure enough snake will investigate IF it's in the vacinity. a tip though, have a feed ready for them when they do turn up. you'll want it to work next time should they escape again. could take a couple of weeks so be patient.

I had the same thing happen, my little guy got out and made it all the way to the kitchen so they can travel pretty far but I have a cat and luckily he has no claws but she was fixed on the water cooler and wouldnt move I mean locked in like ready to pounce so I moved her out of the way and moved the water cooler and BINGO there he was! So if you have a cat keep and eye on him he/she will tell you were its at!;)
