It may not have been the best time for a photo session. I think he's either going into or coming out of blue. But he had just eaten, and he was hanging out motionless in the feeding tub. Motionless isn't a normal condition for these guys, so I took advantage.
The female was weird that night. She grabbed her mouse from the hemostats, constricted it for twenty minutes, then forgot about it. I re-heated it, she took it again, and she hugged it for thirty minutes. But then she ate it. :shrugs:
