ESU Reptile Digital Thermometer?

I found one for a little less then 7 dollars. It's a probe thermometer, and for the price seems like it would be a pretty good deal. Has anyone used this? I'm getting the idea that it may be cheap if so inexpensive... Link:

Also, there's this, it's not a probe thermometer, but it does include a hygrogemeter. Any thoughts? Link:

i have 2 of em and they work just fine

I use it... Just change the battery on one of them. I have no problem with it.
And...I hot glue down the probe above the uth too. Still works!!

Ok, so I'm going to get me two of those. But another thing: Where do I put the probes? Lenny said right above the UTH, and I guess I would put the other probe on the cold side under the aspen touching the glass?

Yeah, the cold side of mine just "floats" around.
