Evicted or not.... stay tuned..

Luckily I had Tatu before I moved in with my boyfriend ... and he owns the house so he's the only "landlord" I have to put up with. And he decided that he liked Tatu so much that he went out and bought Apollo for himself, and then went whole hash and got Stark for one of his sons and Leopold for the other one, lol! Then I bought Sphinx because Tatu is such a lazy lum, so .... yeah. We're just 1 corn snake away from being the "crazy snake people"! ; )

That made me laugh out loud! Love it
I feel like I myself am on the slippery slope. We've had our corn for just over 6weeks and I'm already trying to figure out what the next addition will be, when I'll get it and where I'll put it haha

A friend of mine recently had to get rid of her rats when the landlord found out she had them. He said he "didn't want rats running all over the building." She could have a hamster or a gerbil but no rats, lame.

I've don't like keeping rodents, personally. but that could be because when I was a kid my rabbits got massacred by a serval wild cat.

Poor serval too, he got hit by a car later that night. here's the report
January 31, 2005 / Vero Beach, FL: Serval was found dragging his left leg through underbrush near sports complex. Animal euthanized after it was determined to have a broken back. (Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers)

That is lame! Domesticated rats are not the same as their wild counterparts and aren't suited to life in the wild.

ETA: Forgot to say yay to the OP about the landlord not seeing/noticing your stashed pets :D

I know! One of them was even a hairless rat. They were both so sweet and just liked to hang out. They weren't going anywhere.

I worry mildly about if I had to suddenly move my tanks somewhere to hide them. It wouldn't be much effort.. but it's more of just finding a place for them. Probably stack them in the closet near the shelving unit they are on. Then toss a buncha sheets/laundry on them.
