Exciting find!!

ditto to pauls reply and you can never go wrong with a SMR animal.........always quality stuff coming from Mr. Don. i can see why you would think the "find" is a corn as it looks exactly like a normal with just a few color variations. welcome again to the site and check out the FAQ's section and search feature for most of your other questions.

p.s...........sorry other members as i know this should have been done in the new member introduction section, but since this whole thread has taken on a different road from the cultivars/genetics section, thought i would throw it in here anyway.

just a quick question...why should this thread have been new member material? The reason I put it here was because I thought we might have had a corn snake morph. Hence the "morph" section of the forum. Granted, it turned out not to be a morph, but I didn't know that at the time...Also, I'm not really all that new to this forum. I've been posting for a while now, I just haven't been posting very often. Things can be pretty cut and dry with corns...I've never really had many issues that I felt needed immediate response, and I also usually look a forums "stickies" as they can almost always answer your questions without having 1,000 people post the same question day after day. So, I'm a bit confused.... :shrugs:

Also...I'm very sorry about this getting :-offtopic I am just asking for clarification so I can be sure to post in the correct forum next time. Thanx

no harm done, it's no big deal............there are some on here that if they were having a bad day would make it a big deal.........you have done nothing wrong. the new pics of you new SMR arrivals could have been put in the photo gallery siince they are corns and not "related" to this thread..........but as said before, this thread had a little of everything in it so i see no harm done. probably should have not even written my last post. :shrugs:

Thanks GWB for posting that... I was wondering the rules in IL as I know they can be pretty touchy about native species in Arizona.

Found a dead little guy in the barn last night. He didn't win the fight with one of the cats. I'm not sure if he was a corn or a rat. Not sure if it's the same one that bit the cat the night before or not. The BO's son swore he thought it was a copperhead, but I think I can safely say that since the cat wasn't even limping a couple of hours later, I don't think it was a copperhead.

A couple of summers ago while out in my horse's pasture, I saw a lovely little guy, but just snapped a couple of pictures and left him alone since I figured it would be illegal to capture him.... I'll have to see if I can find those pics now.

Sorry about getting off topic :)

What the hay are you talking about? It doesn't matter if he is new, this was a corn snake morph question (he thought it to be a corn), and it is perfectly appropriate to include a pics of your recent purchases in your own thread. Only a little off topic, but he's the poster, and who doesn't do that? Geesh.

NOt to be snippy - really - but, your right though, you "probably should have not even written my last post".

And whats up with "there are some on here that if they were having a bad day would make it a big deal"? Not to be a butt or anything, but I haven't noticed this forum as being full of posting Nazis. The basic posting etiquette just hasn't been breached. I'm happy a new member is here and is posting.

golden24k - BTW, nice texas rat snake! Keep him away from those cats. He might actually have been a pet (Texas Rat) let go, that happens unfortunetly. Grrr.
