Hi, I just got my Exo Terra Heatwave Desert Vivarium Heater - 11" x 17" in from reptilesupply.com. I noticed it has an adhesive white side that you are suppose to apply to the underside of the cage. However, I dont wish to apply it to the cage. Can I keep the adhesive white paper on and I dont have to worry about anything? Also, on the other side their is a film of a repeated pattern of "exo terra" over and over. Thats also able to be pealed off. Do you think it is okay to take that off?

This UTH will be connected to a thermostat.
 
I have used these for a long time and do not remove either side of film and have had no issues with them being heated that way.
