eye problems

My first posting, I have a female corn 11 + years old, she has lost sight in one eye before I got her. I was cleaning the cage to night and noticed something on her good eye. At first I thought it was a piece of her bedding, I use pine shavings in her cage, But after attempting to remove it with a warm wash cloth, it appears that it is something else. Her eye is kinda cloudy from what you can see from behind the obstruction. It also appears that she is already blind in that eye. I am not sure what it could be. Any help would be nice.

Sorry i am new to Snakes so i can't really help but i was just thinking it isn't clouding over because it's getting ready to shed

Sorry if that's a stupid response all but as i say i have only just purchased my first Miami Cornsnake so i don't even know what they look like when they are getting ready for a shed
