Eyecaps

Filovirus

But you can call me Bob..
my Anry yealring Kellogg shed yesterday.. although unlike normal the skin was ripped on a couple of the belly scales... but they were all there... i checked for eyecaps and there they were too... a few hours later i was handling her and i noticed what looked like a flake of skin over the one eye... i went back and checked the skin and yes both eyecaps were intact...

Anyone seen this before...?? i tred to gently rub it with a damp tissue, like I've read in a few books.. but she wasn't having any of it... So i'm off to the store i a couple of hours just to get a once over..

So.. seen it..? know what it is..? Have a happy holiday however you spend it..

If both eye caps are there that is odd. I had a snake who had to get stitches, and his sheds around the stitches were always caught the first few sheds. I used to wet a towel with warm water, then place him in the towel and he would scurry around. All of the loose skin would come off in the towel. You could try that, and if it is suppose to be off, this may help.
