eyecaps?

Ok, so Clarice shed, and I found the bottom portion of her shed, she still has some around the middle...I'm working on that, but I didn't find the head part of her shed.....

I can see where the shed start and finishes on her middle, but I haven't ripped her tank apart yet to find the top part. i soaked her this morning, and she's out rubbing around on everything....

so, I'm wondering, how can you tell if the eyecaps came off if you don't find them....

(i'm 99.9 percent sure they did come off, but I want to be 100%)

For starters, that is a strange shed. Usually they start at the head and shed to the tail. If something is going to be left on it usually isn't a band around the middle. ???

It is a lot easier to see the eye caps on the shed skin so that should be your first option. If can't find it, look closely at the head and eyes and see if there is any frayed looking or loose skin. Any edges lifting up. You will be able to tell.

Think about a humid hide for your snake and hopefully the next shed will be complete and easy.

so, i tore the viv apart and found the rest of the shed...and got the bit off the middle, it was a complete band. the top had come off. it was a bit of the sides...she's right as rain now...

once my snow corn didn't shed the whole thing but in her case there were blochs of un shedded skin all over her. I just gently took the skin off and she has been fine ever since.
