Fancy Mice vs. Common Mice

I have been looking up a few care sheets on mice, and have stumbled across a few about fancy mice. From what I've heard, fancy mice are mice with color spots and such, right? I was wondering, is a caresheet for a fancy mouse the same as one for common, white mice? Do they need to be cared for differently?

Thanks, I just was wondering.

white are just albino's altho from different strains usually(bred for labs)

care is the same, diet is the most important thing.

The mice should be the same. Are you breeding them / raising them for snake fodder? Either way, make sure you have a healthy mixed diet. I used to think that just dog food would suffice, realistically it would but for a healthier mouse you should suppliment with vit-a-minz. Either way, should be relatively the same. I am sure the "fancy" mouse care sheet required more space, and better food, but it can live off the same as the Lab Mice can. If you are breeding the mice try to get rid of the fancies first because the lab ones (the albinos) produce TONS of babies, and you can have a smaller breeding colony that way. The white mice with pink eyes are bred to produce large litters, like 17-25 pups!

Actually, i might go with fancy mice because of their small litters now. I plan to get two more corns to breed, and at some point a BP, so that's only 4 snakes. I don't really need huge litters.

Thanks for all of the info!
