Hey guys well i ordered my first snake to day from a friend of mine in texas. It should leave there around 6 tonight and arive here before 12 noon. It ofcourse is beeing shiped with het packs but i was wandering about aclamating it. Should i put it in a room temp. tank and warm it up slowly? how long should i wait before handling\feeding? Thanks most my snakes are adopted locally so i normally never have this problem. Thanks alot guys. Oh if you wanna see a pic of him it's in the photo forum.

With heat packs, you shouldn't really need to warm it up unless the packs failed...I'd just go and put him in a standard tank. I've never recieved a shipped snake either, but I'd just make sure to leave him alone for a few days to settle in before handling or feeding.

He's here!

Well he did fine he was freezing cold but now he's on his mat warming up. I'll be post pics of him on the photo page next week when i start to handle him
Thanks
Richard
