feeding before i go to school?

i had a couple of questions about feeding

i am leaving for school tomorrow (hopefully) and bring my baby corn snake with me. tomorrow would be his usual time for a feeding. i have only had him for a week and i will start feeding 1 pinkie every 4 days, starting tomorrow. but should i wait until i get to school to feed him so he can properly digest and not stressed him out? or should when i get to school wait a while so he can adjust to his new surroundings, my dorm room, or should after letting the tank heat up feed him that day. i heard that snakes should have some time alone to adjust but i don't want him to be hungry. any suggestions?

thanks:p

I would wait 2-3 days after you get to school. This will give your temps time to get stable and the snake to settle in. It's ok for them to go a few days past a feeding. It's more stressful for them to regurge then to be a little hungry:)

HUNGRY??

takes snakes months to feel hungry,,,big ones that is,,,

but if its a small one it could last 1 month without food:rolleyes:

just a tought i did this w/ my new baby and she really liked it put a bath towel around the sides of the tank that way it keeps the light and lets her feel more safe when she is eating i know my corns will stop eating w/ half a mouse in their mouths if i sit and watch them eat they just look at me and wait till i turn my head and don't directly look at them
