Potential to cause injury as they're being swallowed. Beaks and claws can be clipped off before feeding if it's a concern.
Having said that, feeding a chick to a Corn is a good way to chase away unwanted visitors. They result in the most evil-smelling poop you'll ever have in your home! Chick poop comes second only to regurges in the Corn Snake Stink Stakes.

i have my corns for more than 4 years now. i always cut the beaks off. its just a question. is there a reason to it?
thanks for reply. i was looking for little more detailed info. if an chase away parasites - what kind? have actually anyone seen snake hurt by beak etc.
