Feeding for the first time?

Yeah,you can pick her up. Just make sure you wash your hands before you do. You dont want your hands smelling like her food.
 
I was under the impression not to handle them at all for atleast 24 hours most people say 48 hours...................
 
I'm not totally sure, but I'd obviously wash my hands and let the snake down the meal. I'd let the meal settle in her stomach for about 10-20 minutes before picking her up, and when you do, be sure to be gentle; don't want a regurge.
 
the "no handling" rule means that you should do minimal handling after the snake has eaten for a 48-72 hour period.

In other words, if you take your snake out to feed in a seperate container, you can put them back into the tank after the mouse had moved past the "throat". (Usually takes a couple minutes) After that you should leave them alone to digest for a couple days or you may intice a regurge (hence the 48 hour rule).
 
Yup. The advice against handling after feeding is for things like "playtime" or exercise sessions.

Short gentle handling to move them from feeding tank to living tank, should be fine.
