This is my first post, but I have read these forums for a while and you guys have helped me out emminsely in raising my Corn. Many thanks.
I think my situation is pretty complex, so here is some background. I have moved from Charlotte, NC to Knoxville, TN because of my job. But I have left my Reverse Okatee Corn with my brother in Charlotte and I've been feeding him every two weeks when I come back on the weekend. Last weekend he was in his blue phase getting ready to shed and didn't seem interested in eating even though it had been two weeks. I'm back home again for the Labor Day weekend and he hasn't shed yet, but I tried feeding him again and he refused. But when I went back to check on him he had shed.
Now here are my questions. I'm planning on moving him to Knoxville with me Monday night. Do I try to feed him again since he has shed and it has been three weeks? Or do I wait until I after the move? Also, what is the best way to transport him? Should I leave him in his 20 Gal. tank since it has a locking lid or should I put him in a pillow case and have him travel in a styrofoam box (which is how one of my college profesors always brought his snakes to class)?
Thanks again for all your help!
