Feeding question

This is my first 'young' snake I have cared for, and I am just a little parinoid of screwing it up.

The lil guy ate two pinkies 3+ days ago and has already pooped twice. Should I feed him on a five day schedule? Or seven?

He is healthy and active.

PS - think I am getting a new digital camera today! Pics soon - I hope.

Eric, if you are going to continue with 2 pinks per feeding, I would do the 7 day.
No need to stuff em. JMO

When my snake was young I'd feed it a Pinkie every 5 days, but I have heard of people feeding their snake(s) twice every 5 days, I think the term is called 'Power Feeding'

I doubt it can be that healthy though because in the wild they might go a couple weeks without eating every now and then.

If you are going to be feeding 2 pinks, I would suggest feeding every 7 days for the next 3 or 4 or feedings. Afterwards, I would suggest moving your corn up to fuzzies.

apperently, does anyone know, the reason power feeding is unhealthy is because it causes internal organs to grow faster than the snakes body itself does. this is what i heard if this isnt correct why is it actually bad, i do not powerfeed nor do i plan to, just curious.
