Feeding time question?

Ok so I have been searching for about an hour trying to find an answer in previous posts, but cant find one. SO Im going to post my question.
Ok so when you go to feed your snake for a second and so forth time, do you count the days he is digesting? Like say if you were feeding ever 5 days, do you count the days 2-3 he is digesting for those 5 days?

If your talking the digestive rate of your snake...

Yes at first..... Another words learn the cycle of your snake. For instance it averages 3 days for most of my snakes to poo after they have eaten. I would grab a calander and mark feedings on it. You could also mark pooing on it too. I do most feeding and shedding and anything abnormal (regurges, ect...). But learning the digestion rate of your snake can help you when uping the size of his/her meal. Also if there is a digestive problem, maybe not enough heat ect....

I still feed 5 days apart for my hatchlings or small Juv's. So if I feed on Tuesday, then again on Sunday. But making sure they have digested and poo'ed the meal before.

Hoped that helped

Ya he has already pooped, one good one yesterday(*right after I played with him for a bit) and then a small one today(after I had cleaned the tank so I know it was a fresh one). So then it would be ok to feed him tomorrow afternoon since tomorrow will be 5 days? Right?

Like bkelm18 said, absolutely.... It is not an exact science and every snake is different. The secret is to learn each snakes habits. One of the best ways is to write it down.
