what can happen if i feed my snakes two much?.....
My snakes might have a difficult time swallowing a two-foot meal. :grin01: I believe you meant to say 1.5x the WIDTH of the largest area of their body.Maize411 said:You should only give them a meal that is 1.5x the length of the largest area of their body.
I thought the rule was that if the lump is there less than 24 hours than you can move up a meal size. Isn't the lump being there for more than 24 hours a sign that you are feeding the correct amount? I could be mistaken.Maize411 said:You should only give them a meal that is 1.5x the length of the largest area of their body..If the lump is there for more then 24 hours then you have given it to much..and you should not overfeed a snake..even if they do eat it, they could become fat due to this and it could make shedding uncomfortable for them..Just because they eat something doesn't mean it's good for them..as owners, it is our responsibility to take care of them and watch for their well being..
