Female sand boa housing

So before I bid on a sand boa that is going up for auction this afternoon I would like so opinions on a simple subject, do you think a 10gal tank would be too small for a FEMALE sand boa as an adult, I know ideally a 20 is recommended for females but I was wondering if it was possible to keep it its entire life in a 10. Opinions and thoughts?

personally if you can only fit a 10 gallon. I would look for a male sandboa, hell have no problems living in a 10 gallon, but if your stuck on a female.. I'd try and eventually find her suitable sized viv. she can start out in a 10, but shell need to upgraded.

having enough room to fully streach out is optimal, it also slims down the chances of you running into respatory issues down the road, pretty much a cramped snake is not a healthy or happy one..

I hope this helps some. I love sand Boas!

I would not keep a female in a 10 gallon. I wouldn't even keep a female in a 15 gallon. A male would do fine though, as mentioned above. I would recommend around 2' x 1.5' floor space for an adult female, if not more.
