So I figured I should do this.

I'm looking for a corn snake to be a first time owner. I've loved snakes as long as I can remember and have been seriously thinking about it for a few months (will be my birthday present to myself :D).

I'm 21 and am getting my vet tech degree in Columbus, Ohio after getting my A.A.S in horse production and management degree. Living with the parents, yay college expenses! Needless to say they aren't too thrilled with my recent research, but sucks to be them.

So that's about it. Nice to meet everyone!
 
Yay! I'm sure you'll love your corns (it'll end up being more than one, if you share the same addiction we all ended up with!). I got my first one when I was 19 and living in the dorms at CSU, but I ended up switching schools and I am 21 living with my parents again too, so no shame in that! They are not excited about the snakes as much as I am, but they are not paying for anything for them so as long as they are clean and don't smell.. they don't care :) Welcome to the site!

You know how you see a dish of candy and you keep seeing ones you like and you pick them up? Then before you know it, you have a handful instead of just the one you first intended? Yeah. Corns are like that. =)
 
Hello and welcome! We're about ready to get our first corns, both myself and my 14-year old daughter. Heading out to a reptile show in Columbus this Saturday, hope to find one there but plan to order one online if not.
My 18-year old daughter is going to study to be a vet tech starting next year! Small world...
