I had the UTH hooked up but it was getting the glass way to hot. So I put it on the back glass of the viv but that didn't work for me either. The first 2X I had fed him he would just go to his cool side 75 degrees and stay while digesting. So I had a Zilla mini halogen left over from a beardie I had before. Put the 25w day light bulb in it. I have a skull hide that has a hole in its head and the light shines right through it and warms his warm spot to 82. So when I fed him tonight he actually went right to it and is curled up right in the light in the hide [emoji4]. I am going to get a night bulb for him so it is a constant temp for him and just alternate between the 2. Anyone else use bulbs instead of a UTH?

Though the majority around here probably favor UTH, there are a handful who use lights. Contrary to popular belief, wild corns will bask from time to time.
