First Brumation and breeding

Corn's + Garters
Ok so my pair of Okeetee's will be ready to breed next year and I'm going to brumate them this winter. I know that you don't feed them for a month before hand. My male just shed and my female will be shedding soon too, just in blue right now. They both last ate October 13th. Should I just go ahead with not feeding them for the month of November or should i feed them once more after they've both shed?

For December I plan on putting them in sweater bins in one of my closets and then moving them to my dad's shop behind their house. My dad keeps it around 9-11 degrees Celsius. I was going to keep them there until the end of February beginning of March then bringing them out and putting them back in a closet to slightly warm up or in their viv without heat. Is that ok to do, or should I just bring them to my parents right away?

I know that you don't feed them for a month before hand.

Not true. They just need to digest and pass their last meal. Not feeding for 10-14 days is more like it.

Letting them warm up gradually is probably better than directly placing them from a cold environment into a warm one.

Ok then once my female sheds I'll feed them one last time. Is it better to gradually cool them too.
