I bred a big creamsicle male to my hypoA female this year as a first step to produce some cinnamons (hypoA version of an emoryi/corn) and hoped that the hypo would be het amel.

Turned out the creamsicle is het hypoA and my cinnamon project got a big leap forward - these little guys were staring up in the incubator yesterday - some nice dark rootbeers and some nice bright cinnamons -

These are approximately 75% corn, 25% emoryi - they really show the corn influence - hope their color will balance out to be the nice orange tones as they mature.

Best part is that my 75% emoryi rootbeers are from the same male, so they have a chance of being het hypo as well - will make more rapid progress toward balancing the emoryi/corn ratio in future cinnamon clutches.

thanks for looking,

Wow, I like cinnamons! I might cross my ghost motley corn male with my emoryi female in 2 years, and then go for anery, ghost and cinnamon (motley) 50/50 rootbeers!

Way to go Mary! Don't see enough Cinnamons in the trade IMO.
Despite the recent reclassification of emoryi , they will always be intergrades in my eyes. Congrats!!

Congrats on the nice looking little crew and on the shortcut. What a nice surprise. That second picture is darling.

Pretty cool, I've just started to notice the cinnamons and there aren't enough pics, thanks

Thanks everyone - it is a wonderful suprise to gain a generation in these breedings!! I am looking forward to combining motley and stripe with these - have a son of the original male that is het stripe - will test breed him to a hypo snow female next year and with any luck he will be het hypo too!!

Jimmy - that is a wonderful example - beautiful cinnamon - they really do have a different look from pure corn hypos.
