Why can't i edit my posts ?

I wouldn't start out with live pinks, for one thing.

I'd feed at or after dusk. I would get a frozen pink. Thaw it in hot water, (only takes a minute) then run it under the very hottest water for a few seconds. Then cut a few slits in its back with a tiny scissors. Put it in a small feeding container- deli cup size. (With air holes) Put in the snake, cover up with a dish towel, leave it alone in a very quiet area without peeking for an hour. If the snake hasn't eaten, reheat the pink, put it back in the container, put the whole container, closed, in the snake's viv and leave over night.

Since i only have live could i just leave the snake in the tub with the pinkie ?

You can kill the pinkie by submerging it in an ice water bath then put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then follow the steps Nanci gave you. I agree with her, I would not start out by offering live as you may have difficulty switching it over later to frozen thawed.

Plus some snakes are afraid of live mice. Plus you can't do anything to scent it. (Like slitting or braining it).

Ok i put the pinkies in the freezer and I will try everything else listed i know they eat F/T from the breeder but they are really fighting eating :( I know miamis are hard to feed also, so im hoping they will eat

My Miamis are my best eaters. That's an old wives tale. And it's your first attempt, so you can't really say they are fighting. How long did you give them to settle in since you brought them home? Normally, snakes are allowed to settle in for a week with no handling before the first feeding attempt, because they are stressed from the move, and that can cause them to not eat, and also to associate feeding attempts with being stressed from moving. Also, are you keeping them separately, or together??

You've only had them a few days. Give them a little more time until your next feeding attempt.

Also, you can only edit your post if you become a contributing member.

They have been seperate Vivs getting adjusted for about 4 days now... Should i leave them in the tank till next monday and try feeding again ?
They only have come out once and that was when i put my hand in to clean the water one of them came to my hand wrapped around it, then he just sat in my hand for about 30 min and he did not want to go back in his home he kept coming right to my hand.

Any advice is great and thank you to the rest of you for your help so far !

So i should Not try feeding then the newly frozen pinkies ?

What day did you get them? Wait seven days from then. Wrap the pinks in the freezer up in saran wrap and put them in a ziplock with all the air squeezed out.

I got them both last thursday and they were very scared when i first got them and now they both come right to me everytime i clean their Vivs ..But i leave them inside. They both seem very happy (well what i think is happy)

Ok so last night i decided to give them a try with feeding again and It worked !

They like to eat at night not during the day and it took them only a couple of seconds before they ate !
