First Fuzzy....

...And Travis took it like a man! :D

I had the common worry when moving up in size: Is it too big? So to be safe I picked the smallest (But not that much smaller..) sliced the back a few times, and he sniffed a lot then grabbed by the fuzzy's neck and held for about 2 minutes.. He then moved to the head and worked it down :)
I left him for a while and didn't take any pics - With a larger prey item in his mouth I think he felt more vunerable.. After 10 minutes I catch him slipping out of the tub and under his hide (I feed in a tub lined with kitchen roll.. in the viv, and try to watch in case he moves the prey onto the bark - which he doesn't bother) I find this much less stressful for him as when he's done he knows where to go..

Anyway sorry about the essay but yeah now Trav is .. burrowing around a bit,
And I'll be on the lookout for any regurges in case it was slightly too big.:)

Congrats on the upgrade! Its so neat when they take their first fuzzy. My little Skizzard just started eating fuzzies a few feedings ago. You should really see him start to grow now that he's eating fuzzies.

Ah yes, the T-boy is becoming the young T-Man :D

And to think, this is the first of many popsicle stick-free mice :grin01:
