well last night i had my first ever regurge in over 2 years of having corns. It was a whole reguge too 24 hours after he ate it.

can some one by chance list the reasons why he would regurge? are there certain reasons?? After he did it i held him and he was not cold at all so it was not cause of temps.

Well holding him in your hand is like no good for telling what temp it is at all. You need a thermometer, a thermometer is like a #1 must have in snake equiptment.

Anyways there is no knowing really since you have no accurate temp reading it could be temps, it could be he was disturbed, he is about to shed, etc.

Do not handle him or feed him at all for a week-two weeks. then try feeding him again.

I've read that one of the more common problems for a regurge is feeding too large a meal. Although I would think that the regurge would occur in under 24 hours if that were the case?

Like they said already, too high/low temps, big meal, some type of stress.
Or in a chain of regurges-illness. That probably doesn't apply to you since this is only one regurge.
 
i got a thermomerter in the cage and it was about 81 on the warm side and he was under the warm side sleeping in a hide.
 
and oh ya i think i might ave been because i was a large meal hes about maybe 2 1/2 feet long and i feed him 2 good size fuzzies but i always feed him this amount and he never has done it befor.
 
The temp *may* have been an issue. Some corns seem fine with a hot spot of 80 while others have problems if its not 83 or higher. I would rasie your temp to 85 on the hot side.

but for as long as i have had the corn its been around this hot spot and he has been fine.

but i will try and raise the temp a lilttle bit. How can i do that?
see i use heat lamps instead of heat pads i have a red bulb on 24/7 and a reg light bulb that i keep on only during the day is that ok?
