At what age do corns usually have their first shed? I ask because I just spoke to the 'herp lead' at the store I bought Vern and she said that none have shed. Not sure if that would have happened before they were shipped to the store or what. Vern is about 12 inches or so (purely an eyeballed SWAG... WAG, really).
She also said that she fed all her corns 2 days before I bought Vern, except one, and that that one was still there. All had "at least" 2 pinkies at that point. In light of that, Vern's refusal on Sunday makes a lot more sense.
Vern's been all over the terrarium looking for an escape route, including shimmying along the gap between the edge of the screen top and the glass (the top of the screen overlaps the top of the side, and it is locked in place). He comes out of his hide to check me out when I'm in the room with him.
