So I walk into my room last night and baby petey is like half way shed and his old skin is draped off him like a superhero cape lol.

I was a little buzzed at the time, so it was kind of shocking how it looked.

Anyways, I just got back from school today, and he is in a paper towel roll, and I think the cape is off, but I kinda see a chunk on him.

At what point do I need to step in and give him a bath and/or run him through a damp wash cloth?
 
Dont try and rush doing it if he's digesting, i didnt realise mine didnt have a full shed till over a week later and then i got it off. He'll be fine. Let us know if you have any trouble getting it off.
 
Yeah, give him a couple of days before assisting him

Also, for future reference you can provide him with a humid hide when he is getting ready to shed (tupperware lined with damp moss or paper towels with a hole cut in the top) - this will provide him with a place to go to get higher humidity and will aid in the shedding process. I started using humid hide chronically with my corns about 4 years ago and havent had an incomplete shed since.
