First snake. Looking for a good name.

So, I'm picking up my first corn snake ever. Did a lot of research, and I'm picking him up in the morning. Temps are ideal, cage is great, mice are ready, and the breeder has been super helpful and awesome. Only one problem: I don't have a name and I'm having trouble thinking one up... I'm sort of horrible with names. Any suggestions?

He's a male striped tessera.

Zip, or Ziggy (Ziggy Stardust?) Captain Hammer, Rudy, Spot. Spock, Mookie.

Streifen is the german word for Stripe.
the spanish word for Striped is 'Rayado.
the translation of stripe or striped in finnish is "raita raidallinen."
Raidallinen sounds similar to Raistlin from the Dragonlance books

Snakes are kinda like cats, they don't care what you call them as long as you feed them (grin)

Does he have any habits or quirks that might give him a name? He may name himself after a while.

Pick a name that you like.. Maybe based on something else you are interested in. A friend of mine plays guitar, and has an amel named 'Floyd ' (well, he's kinda pink ;) ) ..

You could always call him DB (deal breaker) since meeting him might be a stress test of any potential romantic partners.

My motley got named 'Elgee' (LG) because when I got him I was reallly hoping he was a girl (Little Girl).. Turned out he was a Little Guy instead!

I'm getting another snake whose hatch number ends with 007, so he's going to be James (Bond) or maybe Jaybee (JB)

he's a gorgeous snake... If you get bored with him... (ahem - holds out hands)

I agree with Candy, they usually reveal their name once you get them! A few I have named after members of rock bands, some I rescued and kept their original names, but I have yet to regret any name, it just always comes to me!
