so my cage for my bp came the other day and i just put it together last night. i'm using flexwatt and was wonderin if i need to put some spacers on the cage bottom to give the bottom of the cage and flexwatt some breathing room? my first cage the flexxwatt was built in, this one its just taped on the bottom outside.

I use flexwatt on all my racks and tape it directly to the shelves and sit the tubs right on top. It probably wouldn't hurt to give it some breathing room but more importantly use a rheostat or thermostat to regulate the heat.

yea i use the herpstat from spyder robotics. i was just curious if having the flex touching the table is hazardous? i read about uth's needing space for circulating

Can someone explain to me how flexwatt works? Is it just hot tape that wears out after a while and needs to be replaced, or does it need to be plugged in, or what?

is there a op or bottom for flex? the stuff i got didn't say, but it seems to only be 84ish after 24 hours plugged in.
