I'm thinking of getting a FL king, I know enough that I feel I could care for it and give it a good home. I just don't know much about how their colors change. I have handled the snake twice now, once before a feeding and once while he was in blue. He moves around a lot more then my corn but was still fairly calm.

The one I am looking at looks like the snake in the following photo. This is not the snake but the colors are close.

So if you guys could post photos of your FL kings that had that coloring at one time or if they keep that color then that works.

Also I would love to see other morphs of them so post all of your Florida kings here for me to see!!!

I think I'd consider that more of a FL x Eastern intergrade than I would a 'true' FL king.

But there's a lot of variation with those guys, so ya never know. I wouldn't anticipate much color change down the road.

Ok, I don't plan on breeding him/her. I don't know why but the first time I saw the little one I wanted him. I had been looking at the other snakes and checking out other corns but this one just seemed to call to me. Do I sound crazy?
 
For what its worth i've seen photos of adult FL Kings where the black has gone more into a dark brown, and others where its stayed black. :)
 
Guys I Need Your Help

Yesterday I went to a concert (Unearth) and I catched a drumstick! that's not the poblem... the problem Is I also found a cellphone (and LG Chocolate MG800c) and I don't know what do to.... I really need a cellphone so that's why I don't want to call the owner.... but something says I have to do it hahaha what would you do? be honest!
 
I'm sure that if you Googled for images of Florida kings, you'll get a nice variety to view.
 
Hi,
It looks like my FL King.
I really like mine, he is active but docile. I can just reach in a pick him up and he just starts exploring.
I picked this one because he was really black and had the distinct bands and an orange color on his sides.
I think you will really like the FL King.

Wow, nice looking kings.

Jake is a big boy I remember his photos. They get to be about 6ft right?
