Fluid from eyes?!

Hello all,

I am new to keeping snakes and I am curious if this is normal or if I should be concerned. My little dude just shed last night for the first time since I got it (actually got to watch the whole thing and got it on video). This also appeared to be perfect timing as today is feed day. As he ate his thawed mouse, it looked like some fluid was coming from his eyes almost like he was crying.

The shed came out perfect and eye caps were there.

Is this normal after a shed? Should I have waited longer to feed?

Here is a pic (not the fluid part but in general)

I don't think that is possible. The eyes are covered with a "spectacle" which is a solid scale covering, with no outlet. Are you sure he hadn't been in his water?

yeah.. that makes no sence to me aswell, maybe it was water off of the mouse? or drool from the snake?

from the photo he looks like s handsome healthy Guy!
and I always feed my snakes right after a shed without problems.
..I'm at a loss? anyone else?
