For ball enthusiasts

I double checked.
Apparently, all Spider bp's exhibit "wobbling" at some point in their lives, and the original spider have done so as well.

Dunno.

Personally, this seriously puts me off of the spider morph in general. There's a known neural defect, but people continue to spread it?

It is somewhat of a controversy in the BP world, but as it's been stated this is specific to the spider morph... and in most cases not debilitating or even noticeable. I debated over whether to breed my spider, and decided it was worth a try - since his wobble doesn't affect him at all, in fact he's one of the heartiest (and consistently feeding) snakes in my collection. They're still an extremely popular morph, and the combinations you can make with them are endless. So I will breed my Vinnie this season, and hopefully they'll be just as healthy as their dad... if not I'll retire him after one season, and keep him as a beloved pet only.

If you need something to compare this to, think of all the dog breeds with known genetic defects. Pugs & Bulldogs suffer from eye & respiratory problems, Labs/Goldens & GSDs are prone to hip dysplasia, and certain breeds are known for tumors. So do you think we should put an end to these breeds? And then in terms of human ethnic groups - my people (Ashkenazi Jews) can carry Tay Sachs, Sickle-Cell Anemia is fairly specific to the Black race, and so forth. I know snakes are in a different ballpark, but just some food for thought.
