It's Jager time!
What size of tubs do you use for adult corns?
I recently picked up some great 30x15 tubs that i have found are a perfect fit for baby boas and the recent 04 corn purchase. I was also told by a friend who has been breeding for years, these tubs would be sufficient for adult corns.

Any input?

I use Iris CB 70's, which are 9.25 gallons (35L): 17 3/4" x 33 1/2" x 6" (45cm x 85cm x 15 cm) for my adult corns. These seem a little too big for corns, but perfect for ball pythons. Your size appears to be a better fit.

Ah ok thanks :) I just though I was being evil switching them to tubs... But Its all worth it money, space and effort wise :)

and of course, tubs = more easily fitting in more snakies! I just hope your rack is better than my first attempt (Hint, charge up your power screwdriver, and moderate the Southern comfort intake during construction) :grin01:

LOL mines okish :) Not pretty but it does the job...
Planning on a female black rat and a male black rat from south coast exotics...

That will fill up one half of a rack, how exciting :)

coward! I showed my ghetto effort! Actually I belive hammering the 6" screws in gave it a sturdy, rustic charm :grin01:

Can't wait to see your black rats, are they babies or adults? If you breed them shall be knocking on your door for 1

The black rat will be an 04, the yellow will be an 05. £50 delivered for both :)
Its more likley I will be getting a nice 04 amel zig zag from Oli to breed with the new coral snow in 07. You can come a' knocking anytime ;)

Have they got any Deckert's? Mind you I daren't breed Mr Bonney, I'd never find anyone brave enough to take his offspring, but the thought of a whole clutch of the yellow perils is tempting

Nope but they have japanese rats and whip snakes :) Im really considering one or two of them.

I would take one of the killers babies :)

And I'd be happy for you to have one! anyhoo, your tubs sound good, I've found 4'x 2' for £7 each, but will need 10, so looking for better deal first. Then I'll make a new rack and try to stay sober this time

Yes please do, then maybe you wont put mice in the blender and such! LOL

When do you plan on breeding your guys n' gals?

It'll be at least 2 years away, Lil will be the virgin queen forever due to her problem history, Lola and Calamity are 05's, Annie is an 06, the new girls ordered will be hatching sept/oct. Unless I pick up an older girl next year I just have to patient. (have a blood and a caramel mot on order)

oooh excellent :)
Poor lil :( So glad she pulled through though.

Why not get an 04 pair and get them ready for next year?

Because my wishlist is bigger than my budget! Am trying to be good! have seen an 03 blood is listed on my favorite shop's site but have managed not to call yet to find out if it's a girlie, reserve it and :grabbit:
