I've got a lot less time on my hands than I used to, and I've had to seriously reevaluate all my hobbies. So I've taken a hard look at my snakes and offering all those I can bear to part with up to folks who may have better projects for them than I, or who may be looking for a nice pet.
THE LIST:
Adults:
-- 1.1 "okeetee" sunkisseds 2005 - proven pair. I'm not entirely sure I want to part with these guys, but if someone was really interested in working with them I could arrange something. They've got gorgeous reds that amaze everyone, but the female lays really tiny cruddy eggs - not a big surviving clutch size. I also once paired the male with my female snow and got 100% hatch rate and all healthy babies, but I'm not splitting them up. $500 for the pair. ATTACHED PHOTO (female)
-- male lavender het amel, anery 2007 - this was a "hypo" lavender but his "hypo" is in dispute. He's still lovely, very mellow and nice, nice pet. Also a good proven breeder. I also wouldn't mind holding on to him, he's pretty and sweet. $100 FIRST PHOTO
-- female amel stripe 2007 - FWIW 66% het "bloodred" & caramel. From Kathy Love, not proven yet. $80
-- female lavender supposedly het amel, motley and anery. 2001 former serpenco breeder, when I received she way underweight - now she's filled out and well above 300g
- I tried breeding her once last year but the clutch was slugged. She also laid a second infertile clutch but I hadn't bred her. I don't really doubt her genetics but I haven't proven her myself. $100
-- 1.1 creamsicles het stripe. I think they're about 10 years old now, still going strong, female lays lots of eggs (though I didn't breed her this year so she laid 2 infertile clutches). Usually produces around 50 eggs a year! Not splitting them up. $350 for the pair.
-- female creamsicle stripe 2007 - beautiful solid lines, she laid around 10 eggs this year, though they didn't hatch (I think this was more the male's fault). Produced by the above pair. Well socialized, fun to hold! She'd be a great pet. $80
-- ON HOLD: male creamstripe 2006 pet only
Nice guy, but he's got breeding issues so he's "pet only"
Yearlings:
-- SOLD: female ultramel mot het anery 2009 - from Mike / southtexasherps, very vigorous hatchling, pretty good size for her age, pretty good to handle too. Has a nice "zigzag" motley pattern for those who are into that. Very bright! One of my favorite yearlings, I'll be sorry to see her go if she does!
-- female golddust 2009 - very pretty! $80
Babies:
-- four 2010 snow mots 50%het/homo butter (they are one or the other), one male and three females, I was going to hold on to and see how they developed and whether you can "see" a true butter snow or not as an adult but again, I'm going to cut back everything I can stand to part with. THIRD PHOTO (they all look pretty similar) $40/each, $150 for the group.
I'm located in IL, will be going to the upcoming wheaton reptile show as well as the indianapolis one. I can drop off there, or arrange a pickup/delivery if you're not too far.
Right now it is too cold to ship, however if you are okay with waiting I can hold on to them for a while and ship when the weather warms up, even pair females with a male of your choice. SHIPPING WILL BE WITH FEDEX OVERNIGHT
Contact me if interested to discuss prices, arrangements, more photos, etc. NOT INTERESTED IN FLIPPERS - I know I can't guarantee what happens to these guys once they're out of my hands, but I'm trying to find them a good home they'll stay at for a while.
