This is my '04 okeetee that i picked up from Kathy Love this summer.

The picture of him beside the water bowl shows his pattern off and the others were just me trying to get a feel for this new camera.

Nice snake. I really like seeing the side patterns on the okees. You can get a real feel for the vibrant colors.

That is going to be a real screamer!

It has very saturated orange coloration already and nice black borders, which is a must for Okeetees.

yep, and he's got a little lava gf on the way.....thanks joe

ok well i've got plans for her before the lava/okeetee combo. I've got to get me some ice first then move on to other projects. Ahhh the possiblities of these animals is what really fuels the addiction isnt it?

Your new family addition will be there in the morning.

The first time you breed these guys together, this is the predicted results. I would highly recommend breeding the Lava Het Ice to the Okeetee that you have which will produce some very vigorous outcrossed hatchlings with a very nice dose of KL Okeetee the second time around.

Male is, Anerythristic, Het for Lava
Female is, Lava, Het for Anery

Offspring are predicted to be...
25.00%, Ice Ghost
25.00%, Lava, Het for Anery
25.00%, Anerythristic, Het for Lava
25.00%, Het for Ice Ghost

Wow

Joe, these are great. The lava has exceeded all of my expectations. The anery is sharp but that lava is amazing. Needless to say they are safe and sound. I couldnt help myself so i had to snap a quick picture of the lava before i put them in the cages to rest for a couple days and settle in.

This is always good news. :)

I changed the Cornprog predictions above to indicate all of the geneotypes. It was nice to see that he has Ice Ghost as a result of the combo of Lava and Anery A now. You will be able to produce a variety of phenotypes and genotypes that are known hets.

It sounds like you are a proud papa. They are quite unique.

I am sure they would be very excited about meeting a pinky as soon as their temperature stabilized from the trip.
