EXACTLY my reaction when I saw these guys.
Medusacoils - is that an Australian or New Guinea -an? He looks like a ton of fun.
I get the impression they are pretty intelligent? Is that right in any way shape or form?

Lizards (the ones smaller than crocs, gators, and komodos) are like the comedians of the herp world for me. Chameleons, beardies, these,....there are so funny and don't even know it.

We believe he is a New Guinea, but he is not completely red. He does have, even though it doesn't show in the picks, a lot of red on his throat and frill.
As far as intelligence, he figures things out pretty quick. Like bath time or feeding, he is very aware of what's going on. He is very handle-able, sometimes. He is also VERY picky with his food, which is a pain in the arse, but it's fun to watch him eat.
He is a lot of fun! We are waiting for him to get a little bigger, so we can walk him on a harness!
