Fritz, my classroom anery...then & now...

(As long as you return on your breaks & do all of the tank cleaning! :p )

Fine... :)

I just got home from vacation to some dirty cages! Not going to spot clean this time because they are all getting new homes! Look for a thread either tonight or tomorrow!

I'll do the spot cleaning & feeding, but you get to do all of the indepth cleaning...it's only fair! (Consider it the rent!) :p

Wow...all new homes? Have you gotten a rack? Need space for more babies? Should I ever decide to breed, I'll need a rack, but I just don't like the idea of it...it's like a sock drawer for snakes. However, I can totally understand on needing to economize on space...whatcha gonna do? :shrugs:

Happy cleaning! :) By the way, do you have breeding plans for the upcoming year?

Yea, I got a new Animal Plastics rack as a christmas present. It has room for six 32 QT Sterlite containers or twelve 15 QT Sterlite containers. I have six snakes now but I am going to keep one in its 20 gallon long for my "display snake". I will take the other five and put them in the rack. They are all adults so they get the 32 QT tubs. I then have a space for one more adult or two babies! Already have some plans there...:crazy02:

Yea, I will be breeding again this year. I cooled down the new ratsnake pair and I am just starting to let them heat up again. Then the other pair will be the amel het butter pair. If I have time I might breed the regular amel to the normal again without brumating them. The most exciting one will the the ratsnake pair because there is a possible het involved that could produce whitesideds.

That is definately a nice anery!!
He's a handsome boy! A real credit to you and I bet the kids love him:)
Oh, lord -- all of this praise will go straight to Fritz's wee head & inflate his already oversized ego. ;) Thank jeebus that he's digesting and not around to hear these compliments...! Although I am grateful that he has remained as good-natured and calm as ever...it works so much better with the kids to be like that! :)

That is one gorgeous anery! I love how little yellow he displays!

When he raises his sleepy head, I'll try to take a photo of his sides...he doesn't show as much yellow as I thought that he might, because with every shed from Aug 06 - spring of 07, Fritz appeared to be showing more & more yellow...and then, it seemed to stop. Hmm, we'll see...he's not too worried about his yellow, though, because he knows what a stud he is regardless. :dgrin:

And, thanks to everyone for looking -- I appreciate the opportunities that I can take advantage of to brag a little about my beautiful ones...:)
