Well our boa has been here a little over a month now and is eating and growing well. He's still very hissy in his cage, but once out truely is a snuggly puppy dog who hangs on my bed with me for hours. Snapped a couple of pics of him being cute:)

You can see his pretty tail here.

Lunch, lol He's my daughters snake thats her holding him for me, but usually he just curls up on our laps and watches tv- very cool dude:D

LOL It's a hog island boa with an insame amount of huge black mites j/k their speckled naturally. Boas are sooo different from corns I love their demeanor and attitude and wish I had space for many many more. The only drawback is feedings take longer and he'll need a biger cage:( However, I want a female to go with him and a pair of hypo blood boas badly- pray the christmas fairies leave me lots of money:D

Beautiful animals- to bad i'll have to sell a kidney to get a pair, lol I like the live birth aspect and can't get over how calm they are. I hope by next year a female hog and pair of hypo bloods will be in my collection. I just got Vincent Russo's book and realize how many more morphs of managable size there are.

What I always think is so neat about Boas and Pythons is the way the shape of their heads and the look of their eyes makes them look so intelligent.

I love their heads too and actually think he might be a little intelligent. He has an amazing personality and love the tongue flick my eyes, lol

One of my corns is like that, always trying to get to my eyes and then "smelling" them so much. Who knows maybe it is a snake from of identification like doggie butt sniffing? LOL

I agree completely! Boa faces are my absolute favorite. The way their snout is shaped - it's almost canine looking.

Beautiful boa Danielle! I'd love to see more pictures of him.

At first I swore he was sizing them up for a potential meal, lol but your theory is quite interesting;)

Just to clear up any confusion Wade, neither do I!!!:roflmao: My snakes on the other hand can "smell" my eyes all they want!:nyah::sidestep:
