i am sick and tired of books telling you what size your tank should be in gallons! i really cant get my head round it....
can any1 here tell me rough measurements for :-
10 gal
20 gal
30 gal
40 gal
50 gal
60 gal
70 gal
80 gal

Can't help you out on that one but would sure as hell be interested in the answers.

How much water a tank will hold is very useful if you are keeping fish. As it is I'm more interested in measurements that relate to the beautiful creatures we are keeping. After all, we wouldn't describe the size of our own homes in gallons now would we?!

Maybe this is stupid of me to say, but does it matter? If you need a 20 gallon, buy a 20 gallon, if you need a 40, buy a 40. Or if your trying to make your own enclosure, maybe go to the store and look at the measurements of the tank?
