Kitty
You rang?
Since I've already hit the boards with pesky questions, I thought an intro might be in order.
While husband was talking me into a large constrictor (we've mutually agreed I can tolerate a ball python), I had a chance to handle my first baby corn (an amel). The pet shop employee - a herp student in college - is a big corn-fan. I learned enough to get hooked - gentle personalities, easy keepers, spectacular color variety, glossy-smooth skin (okay, that's not unique to corns, but it's a plus for me!).
I'm reading a few books I picked up, started a list of things I need to do, browsed websites and photos until I'm nearly cross-eyed. This summer I'll even be close enough to visit some breeders. I've already decided on a pair. I'm just not totally convinced I'll breed them (in case I decide to, how old should they be?)
Today, I'm leaning toward hypos and charcoals/ghosts. But that will likely change daily until I meet my first baby(ies) in person! I look forward to learning more here than the lots I've already absorbed.
