What kind of substrate do you have in your viv?

If aspen or other shaved or shredded substrate, it can be very difficult to find poop from that tiny a baby. Sometimes it is a little below the edge of the viv under the aspen. Have your taken out all the decor and searched? It can be stuck on the bottom edge of decor, too.

Even though I'm very conscientious about hunting down and cleaning up poop right away, when I completely change the substrate it is not unusual to find a hidden surprise. It is like, "Wow, how did I miss that one?"

Unless you are using paper towels, and have checked them on both sides, it is definitely possible you missed it. Is your snake behaving funny? Do you see any swelling or anything unusual near the vent?

Poop from a 10 gram baby is very tiny, and they will poop under the surface of the substrate, so I agree with DollysMom, unless you are using paper towel, it's likely that you just haven't found it. I find suprises on the bottom of the cage under the bedding every time I do a full clean-out.
