Hi,

I know that some snakes will eat goldfish... You just put them in their tank in a bowl of water and you will just notice the fish disappearing. Do you think a cornsnake would go for that? That would be really cool! Not to mention cheaper. Thanks for your thoughts!
 
Not recommended. They don't supply enough nutritional value and also there is a chemical in some gold fish that is not good for corn snakes.

It is best to stick with mice.
 
It's not even good for the captive snakes that *do* eat fish as their basic diet.
There's a lot of nasty stuff in feeder fish.
 
i would have to agree and not recommend goldfish for corn snakes. all the snakes i have seen eat fish (captive ones) are garter snakes. not corns.
