ok well firstly my problem eating new blizzard actually ate today...putting my mind at rest, but my happiness was short lived as now whilst feeding my 2.5ft snow i saw him take down a bit of wood chipping (my substrate ) so now i am a little worried, will he be ok, is there any thing i can do or has this happened to anyone else.

A small amount shouldn't make too much of a differance...best to feed in a tub to avoid things like that happening though. Congrats on the feeder!

thanks

i knew someone would mention a tub!!, and yes i learnt my lesson now. thanks for the post. makes me a little less worried
